The minutes of the September 25 Teleconference were approved. Steve to place in public archives. 2. The IESG apporoved publication of ACAP -- Application Configuration Access Protocol and Anonymous SASL Mechanism as Proposed Standards. However, the announcement can not be sent as they are waiting for Augmented BNF for Syntax Specifications: ABNF and Simple Authentication and Security Layer (SASL) to be approved. 3. The IESG approved publication of Classical IP and ARP over ATM as a Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement. 4. The IESG approved publication of IMAP4 Login Referrals as a Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement. 5. Action on Routing Policy Specification Language (RPSL) was deferred as the document needs to be updated. 6. Action on Simple Hit-Metering and Usage-Limiting for HTTP was deferred as the document needs to be updated. 7. Action on IP Broadcast over ATM Networks was deferred as the document needs to be updated. 8. Action on Internet Group Management Protocol, Version 2 was deferred as the document needs to be updated. 9. The IESG approved the creation of the IP Performance Metrics (ippm) Working Group. 10. The IESG approved publication of Requirements for a Distributed Authoring and Versioning Protocol for the World Wide Web as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement. 11. The IESG approved publication of Using a Dedicated AS for Sites Homed to a Single Provider as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement. 12. The IESG approved publication of NFS URL Scheme as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement. 13. The IESG had no problem with the publication of The Application/MARC Content-type as an Informational RFC. The IESG had one small request: that the Security Considerations be a heading rather than in the body of the text. Steve to convey to RFC Editor. 14. The IESG felt that Automated Digital Network System Description should not be published at this time. The Transport ADs will be conveying their concerns directly to the author. Steve to convey to RFC Editor. 15. The IESG felt that Usage of H.323 on the Internet should not be published at this time. The Transport ADs will be conveying their concerns directly to the author. Steve to convey to RFC Editor. 16. The IESG reviewed the plans for handling Internet-Drafts immediately prior to an IETF meeting. The decision was made that the Internet-Drafts cut-off for the DC meeting would be on Friday, November 21. The was some discussion on how toi handle documents submitted during the IETF.
