I really like this scene. I'd love to see it in high resolution.
I had to read your description to figure out where decay was though.
The moon on the left seems strange, it seems not to be spherical a bit as if it
was post-processed.
This image would really go with 'Future' topic too.

How could I tell what I think and feel ? This is so wonderful ! Everything in
this pictures seems so good to me that I cannot say anything else than I hope
that this round will be yours ! Congratulations !

No clue how its decay
=====
From sigmanufratguy@netscape.net:
This really does not look like a decay scene. You can barely see the "dead
city" in the background.

=====
From rgow@lanset.com:
It's a nice image, but the modern colony city dominates the ruins, leaving the
connection to the topic rather thin.

=====
From panikme@yahoo.com.br:
good but with out text descrition, no a decay

=====
From hildurka@simnet.is:
It seems that the decay of this image is kept in the
background. This image would probably fit better into the
next "future" round. Overall the image is very well
constructed, lots and lots of wonderful details, really
great work. But as far as the topic is concerned I feel
this one is borderline off topic.

I like this image. One of my favourite so far judging.

I thought that the rules say you can_t use an image that you created in the
past??? I know that I saw this posted at Renderosity in early October...
October 10th to be exact. Here is the link:

From p_chan@shaw.ca:
The modelling and textures are done well. The clouds in
the they skey look a bit flat to me - they seem to have
the feel of a painting rather than being realistic.

=====
From slone@hiwaay.net:
Beautiful city, though to fit the topic better maybe have the
older civilization more prominent. The five cone towers are
actually the weakest elements, too "clean;" everything else
looks fantastic! Maybe the second aircraft should be re-positioned
or eliminated. Some of the small details are incredible; the
glowing arches sparked my curiosity. What could it be?

I really like the image. It is not very obvious where decay is at first. I had
to read your desc. Too bad you can't use the image for next topic. :-)

this is a really nice image, but would be MUCH improved if you could move some
ruins into the foreground. Yu have a nice little park up font, if it was
centered on an old building, it would give you great new_old contrast. As is, I
barely noticed the ruins. A great loking image anyway, but harder to see the
topic.
Notable for textures, modelling, lighting

I really like this - in fact I aspire to produce scenes this good - I spend
times myself making futuristic skylines like this. But hey dude, I bet you're
kicking yourself for not entering it next round (future)! In fact, this was one
image I looked at for a long time before making my one for the next round. It
really inspired me. Nice one Rob, or TROC, or czarnyrobert, or whoever you
are.-RICH
