From darwallace@earthlink.net:
The sea monster needs serious texture work. A crackle-based texture for scales would have helped.

Sea monster - I think not. Cute, colourful maybe not not attractive.

From panthus@xtra.co.nz:
Clear and bright, except for the dino-monster's gritty texture. I like the light blue, circle emanation through the water from the dino-monster, it focuses the picture.

Some very deranged monsters

Nice idea but need to work on realism.

From douge@nls.net:
The sea monster looks more cuddly than deadly! Very colorful. Water could use some work, though.

From tony@j4tb.com:
A better desription would be nice. There is no sense of scale. Your sea monster seems a little rough. I like your island(?) and your water is pretty decent.

How long did this take after making all of those patches

From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com:
That's stretching it a bit on the topic side.

The crab and plant objects look good.

From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk:
The textures need quite a bit of work.

From went@netcourrier.com:
The textures could have been improved.

From delfeld@mailcity.com:
The textures are lousy on the mother, but _visually_, it works. I don't like cicular compositions because they are too static and non-directional, but the way the plants, reflections and creatures break up the waves brings it together. Is the baby monster walking on water? Actually, in physical reality, nothing works that way. . . but I don't really care either! I really like this picture.

Monster - I think not. Mishapen lizard maybe.
