From d97ta@efd.lth.se:
looks a lot better than crater.jpg, the rocks and the tree
really helps a lot.
however, too much of the image is in shadow.

Mountains are a bit steep edged. Nice water

=====
From manorton@tcnet.net:

Water is to reflective. Looks like a mirror.

The lighting on the mountains is not natural, kind of broken.

Keep working with Bryce, you have a nice touch for layout, just need the
asthetics

From simon.davis@altavista.net:
The mountains look like Darth Vader after he's been out in the sun too long.

From buck@cs.byu.edu:
I like this one. Has kind of an exotic feel to it. The mountains in
the distant seem kind of stretched, though, and the water appears a bit
too reflective. I really like the plant on the left, though.

From djconnel@flash.net:
This is a lot more effective than the preceding. However, if I were
you I would look into Vue d'Esprit -- I think it does a better job
on terrains than Bryce.

On this image, I would make more use of "normal" texture modifiers
to make the terrain appear more complex. Also, thesky needs
work. There is also a clear JPEG artifact in the sky.

From bill@apocalypse.org:
water seems too smooth, caustics?

=====
From ethelm@bigfoot.com:
Foreground nice. Distant hills unconvincing. Try Fractint or
PovRay textures for height fields. Try different surface textures.

=====
From fisher2@pobox.upenn.edu:
Water has no ripples and the sky could use a gradient. The water looks
more like blue glass. Also could use more than one piece of foliage in the
scene.

From gmccarter@hotmail.com:
Fine image. Far better than "Desert lake". Rocky spires are imposing,
especially the dark one in the center.

From r@199.45.245.103:
Pretty standard Bryce work, but I like the composition. You could try a rougher,
more turbulent surface on the water.
