The concept was *great*, although the scene shifts were a bit jerky. I had to
watch it twice to realize that I hadn't already seen the cargo in the first
scene--just the crate. *Excellent* effort.

Beautiful. A testament to what POVray can do :)

Okay, here's the play by play:

The modeling, lighting, and texturing are all flawless, as far as I'm
concerned.

The cuts between some of the "scenes" seem a little abrupt, especially the
first, but this hardly detracts. The motion of the vehicles (both the dip
when being loaded and traveling to the city) are fluid and precise.

The attention to detail is very good. The barrels in the "sky train" scene,
as well as the docking lights during the end of that segment are great.

And, to top it all off, the "cargo" is very well modeled, and I particularly
liked how it just happened to be the same shape as the sky platform.

Overall, an excellent piece of work; practically a documentary. I expect no
less in July! :)

Nice story. I think there are too many scenes; the camera jerks around a lot
in one minute. Some of the scene animations could be a little longer; they
start late in the sequence and end early. If you eliminated one scene and made
the
others a teensy bit longer the whole animation might be a little smoother.
I love the twist at the end.
The opening and closing credits are excellent.

A nicely polished piece of work. The silent screen titles were also
reminiscent
of the early days of flight. Having the space station look like the aircraft
was a bit on the cute side, though.

Amazingly brilliantly cool!!! Lots of great detail that was appreciated.
I loved the sleakness of the sky-train. The titles worked well too.

It had a really neat concept. The whole thing was very high quality.

From r@stork.docs.uu.se:
Gee... this one's great! 1860 frames, how did you manage to squeeze all that
into 3 MB? Anyway, almost everything is very good - I love the titles and the
bupy surface of the sky train for example. One thing that could be improved
might be tha camera movement in "Revelation".

Outstanding - my personal favorite! Extremely fluid camera and object movement.
Modeling is simplistic but well thought out and effective.
Notable for composition

From r@cust150.webbernet.net:
The eye for detail in this piece is exemplary. The workers standing around at
the departure, the bounce of the truck... these are signs of the ability to
step around technique and see what you are depicting. The mpeg artifacting
around the "train" engines and the trucks, especially when crossing the
land-water boundaries, served well to indicate gravitic disturbance. Was this
planned or serendipity? The titles and credits were good, but I would rather
you used the bandwidth for enhancing the scene, perhaps by replacing some of
the abrupt transitions with dissolves. The structure of the space station was
a very nice touch and did not even look implausible. Outstanding.

Excellent use of camera motion! Great work!

Incredible! This is a wonderful work, the clear winner in my mind. The subject
is brilliantly presented -- it almost rivals your "Cinema" work in notability.
The only small weakness is the lack of texture on some of the terrain, but that
would consume valuable bandwidth.
