Short: Adds a menu item to create filesystem links Author: chris@unsatisfactorysoftware.co.uk (Chris Young) Uploader: chris unsatisfactorysoftware co uk (Chris Young) Type: util/wb Version: 1.1 Requires: Workbench 3.5 (workbench.library v44) or above; OS4 highly recommended Architecture: m68k-amigaos The scripts in this archive allow you to select an icon in Workbench and create a filesystem "hard link", by select "Create Link" from the Tools menu. These can be renamed, and if moved to a different volume (in OS4 at least) will automatically change to a soft link. It is not recommended to use this with anything lower than OS4, as link support is not very good in older versions of dos.library and FFS. Other filesystems may not support links at all. Workbench 4 underlines filesystem links so they are easy to identify. Installation ------------ Copy clink.wbstartup to the WBStartUp drawer Copy clink.wb to REXX: Reboot.
