Double click on INSTALL_MCF. Now, follow the install script. Using Install, make a drawer in your AmIRC Drawer called MCF. Put your MCF OP's And Help Files in there. You should have a program called Play16 in your C: directory. If you don't, GET IT! from the Aminet. This plays all the sounds for MCF. You should have Say in your SYS:Utilities Drawer. If You Don't, GET IT!. This allows speach to be used with MCF. Also need narrator.device and translator.library. You can use the sounds drawer in AmIRC or make a new one which will contain your sound files for MCF. Use the same sound dirctory to place downloaded sounds into. Now the Option Switches. Now go to Settings and Save. Quit AmIRC and Reboot. Go Online again and start amirc. After you join, "Master Functions Now Loaded" should appear as you login. Click on your nickname in the User List and then click on the "VER" button below the user list. You're info should include a line about MCF , and should show the version number of MCF. If it does show, You did it. If it doesn't, ask someone. Now let's make a few things easier. With MCF you are able to send sounds to users, and receive sounds from users. We will set up a couple of buttons to do this. Go to settings again but this time select "Actions". Find an open "Label:" and enter "Snd2Nik". Under "Operation:" enter "/s ? %u" This will bring up a file requestor and allow you to send a sound to a person you have selected in the user list window. Find another open "Label:" and enter "Snd". Under "Operation:" enter "/s ?" This will bring up a file requestor and allow you to send a sound to evryone running MCF on your channel. That's Pretty much it. You should receive sounds if you don't already have them ,and send sounds to others. HINT: to listen to sounds you have, click on your own nickname and then on "Snd2Nik" Working on a DOC to help with MCF and AmIRC Commands. Hopefully will be done soon.
