A working group is either active or inactive.  Active working groups
have charters to develop documents.  Inactive working groups have no
charter -- typically because they have completed their previous charter.
These inactive working groups (and their mailing lists) serve as a forum
for implementors.  When a standards-track document produced by a working
group is ready for further evaluation or new documents are appropriate,
the working group is re-chartered accordingly.



ATM MIB Working Group (ATOMMIB)

The working group is inactive, awaiting the next stage for RFC 1695
(Proposed Standard).  ATOMMIB is eligible to re-activate in February,
1995.



Bridge MIB Working Group (BRIDGE)

The working group is inactive, awaiting the next stage for RFC 1493
(Draft Standard) and RFC 1525 (Proposed Standard).  BRIDGE is eligible
to re-activate now.



Character MIB Working Group (CHARMIB)

The working group is inactive, waiting for the next state for RFCs 1658
(Draft Standard), 1659 (Draft Standard) and 1660 (Draft Standard).
CHARMIB is eligible to re-activate in January, 1995.



DECnet Phase IV MIB Working Group (DECNETIV)

The working group is inactive, waiting for the next stage for RFC 1559
(Draft Standard).  DECNETIV is eligible to re-activate now.


FDDI MIB Working Group (FDDIMIB)

The working group is inactive, awaiting the next stage for RFC 1285
(Proposed Standard) and RFC 1512 (Proposed Standard).  FDDIMIB is
eligible to re-activate now.


Frame Relay Service MIB Working Group (FRNETMIB)

The working group is inactive, awaiting the next stage for RFC 1604
(Proposed Standard).  FRNETMIB is eligible to re-activate in September,
1994.


Host Resources MIB Working Group (HOSTMIB)

The working group is inactive, awaiting the next state for RFC 1514
(Proposed Standard).  HOSTMIB is eligible to re-activate now.


IEEE 802.3 Hub MIB Working Group (HUBMIB)

The working group is inactive, awaiting the next stage for RFC 1515
(Proposed Standard) and RFC 1516 (Draft Standard).  HUBMIB is eligible
to re-activate now.


Interfaces MIB Working Group (IFMIB)

The working group is inactive, awaiting the next stage for RFC 1573
(Proposed standard) and RFCs 1748 and 1749 (Proposed Standard).  IFMIB
is eligible to re-activate now to consider RFC 1573.


Mail and Directory Management Working Group (MADMAN)

The working group is inactive, awaiting the next stage for
RFCs 1565-1567 (Proposed Standard).  MADMAN is eligible to re-activate
now.


Modem Management Working Group (MODEMMGT)

The working group is inactive, awaiting the next stage for RFC 1696
(Proposed Standard).  MODEMMGT is eligible to re-activate in February,
1995.


Printer MIB Working Group (PRINTMIB)

This working group is active.  The IESG is reviewing
draft-ietf-printmib-printer-mib-03.txt.  A Last Call is in process.



RDBMS MIB Working Group (RDBMSMIB)

The working group is inactive, awaiting the next state for RFC 1697
(Proposed Standard).  RDBMSMIB is eligible to re-activate in February.



Remote Monitoring Working Group (RMONMIB)

The working group is active, awaiting IESG action on
draft-ietf-rmon-rmonmib-03.txt.  RMONMIB is working on RMONv2.  The
working group is eligible to evaluate RFC 1513 (Proposed Standard) with
respect to the standards track now (although such an evaluation requires
an update to the charter).



SNA DLC Services MIB Working Group (SNADLC)

The working group is active, awaiting IESG action on
draft-ietf-snadlc-mib-05.txt.  SNADLC is completing an LLC-2 MIB.



SNA NAU Services MIB Working Group (SNANAU)

The working group is active, editing draft-ietf-snanau-appcmib-00.txt.
SNANAU is completing an APPC MIB.



SNMP Version 2 Working Group (SNMPV2)

The working group is active and the games have begun.  The group is
evaluating the SNMPv2 documents with respect to the standards track.



DS1/DS3 MIB Working Group (TRUNKMIB)

The working group is inactive, awaiting the next stage for RFCs 1406 and
1407 (Proposed Standard).  TRUNKMIB is eligible to re-activate now.


Uninterruptible Power Supply Working Group (UPSMIB)

The working group is inactive, awaiting the next stage for RFC 1628
(Proposed Standard).  UPSMIB is eligible to reactivate in November.


X.25 Management Information Base Working Group (X25MIB)

The working group is inactive, awaiting the next stage for RFCs 1381 and
1382 (Proposed Standard).  X25MIB is eligible to re-activate now.
