Steve to send announcement. 3. The IESG approved publication of Transmission of IPv6 over IPv4 Domains without Explicit Tunnels as a Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement. 4. The IESG approved publication of Reserved IPv6 Subnet Anycast addresses as a Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement. 5. The IESG approved publication of the following as Proposed Standards: o Base Definitions of Managed Objects for TN3270E Using SMIv2 o Definitions of Protocol and Managed Objects for TN3270E Response Time Collection Using SMIv2 (TN3270E-RT-MIB) Steve to send announcement. 6. The IESG tentatively approved publication of the following as Proposed Standards: o Indicating Supported Media Features Using Extensions to DSN and MDN o Content feature schema for Internet fax o Extended Facsimile Using Internet Mail Steve to send informal note to RFC Editor, noting that the documents are going through a final review to check for normative references. More work is needed on IP Network Address Translator (NAT) Terminology and Considerations , so the document has been withdrawn from IESG consideration. 15. Publication of Initial IPv6 Sub-TLA ID Assignments as an Informational RFC has been withdrawn from IESG consideration. 16. The IESG approved publication of Microsoft Vendor-specific RADIUS Attributes as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement. 17. The IESG approved publication of 6Bone Routing Practice as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement. 18. The IESG approved publication of Basic Socket Interface Extensions for IPv6 as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement. 19. The IESG consensus on Multicast Manager was that it not be published as an Informational RFC. The document has only marginal relevance to the IETF and Internet. The IESG suggests that the authors pursue more appropriate avenues of publication, perhaps starting with the ATM Forum. Steve to convey to RFC Editor. 20. The IESG agreed that Notification - An extension to the Post Office Protocol version 3 not be published. Steve to send note to RFC Editor stating that the IESG agreed with Patrik's analysis (sent to RFC Editor previously). 21. The IESG felt that Multicast Discovery of DNS Services should not be published at this time. A revised document is anticipated following a discussion between the author and the DNSIND WG. Steve to convey to RFC Editor. 22. The IESG recommends that Documenting Special Use IPv4 Address Blocks NOT be published at this time. Scott has already sent mail to the author about address blocks missing. Steve to convey to RFC Editor. 23. The IESG recommended that H.323 Firewall Control Interface (HFCI) not be published at this time. Marcus pointed out that this work is similar to that being done by the AFT WG, and they will be contacting the author. 24. The IESG had no problem with the publication of BGP/MPLS VPNs as an Informational RFC. Steve to notify RFC Editor. 25. The IESG agreed that RFC1944 should be republished, correcting the errors discovered with the current version. The new RFC will also include the following as an IESG Note: This document is a republication of RFC 1944 correcting the values for the IP addresses which were assigned to be used as the default addresses for networking test equipment (See section C.2.2). This RFC replaces and obsoletes RFC 1944. 26. Once ascertained that there was no dependency on dnsind-rfc2052bis, the IESG approved publication of SIP: Session Initiation Protocol as a Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement.
