The »ACE_Tuning« package
========================

The complete package consists of the following files:

- ACE_Tuning.doc:  The documentation file.
- Test.b:          Test source code.
- Test_bas:        Source compiled using the "bas2" script
                   supplied with ACE.
- Test_bas_phx:    Source compiled with a new script discussed
                   in the documentation.
- bas_phx:         New script for compiling ACE programs.
- bas_so_phx:      Another new script file.
- exe_timer.b:     Measures the execution time of a shell
                   program (source code.)
- exe_timer:       The compiled executable.

ACE 2.37+ is required to run the script.

The package provides a new script for compiling ACE source codes.

Your executable files will be up to 25 % smaller and faster!!!


Important note
--------------

You will need the Phx Assembler and Linker as well as ACE's
SuperOptimizer to use the new script files. All files can be
found on Aminet.
