IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 

Absence implies to me that it must have been preceded by a presence of someone
or something.  I have the water of the bay and the greenery of the park
separated by a human path of road and sidewalk and constrained by rusting
fences on both sides.  But no one is in the scene.  So often we leave behind
only the traces of having been at a place before, not always for the better.
