IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 

This is based on a photograph of a similar composition taken by a friend of
mine, 
although this adds color to their originally black&white image. 
She said, "Jeez, this is really ART!" in a sort of suprised tone, hence the
title. 
(She was used to 3d graphics being more along the lines of Toy Story; neat, yes,
but not 
really art or even very realistic)


DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 

I was going for a photorealistic image and got a bit carried away and added just
a 
drop of spilled paint, which got a bit carried away and became a splash. This
was done
with Metaballs. Paintbrush is native bryce objects, the paint can was modelled
in Wings.
Rendered with True Ambiance and an attempt at a realistic lighting scheme. 
64 Rays Per Pixel for this particular render if I recall correctly.
