The river was getting fulfilled by big pieces of ice. But until then all was moreless ok. Then started snowing. Soldiers, officers, civilians, old people, children, german and russian are involved in one of the most bloody chapters of history. And suddenly, the winter. Winter of 1942 killed lots of soldiers, but saved many more. Because it was the begining of the end of the german assault, the nazi goverment and the Second World War. Russian nor German won the war. But what we are sure of is that it was winter the one who stopped it. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: This image is a very conventional one. There is not much to say. I wanted to do a snowed city but it was too difficult so I only have done a few snowflakes. I wanted aswell to make fog but the plugin slows down the raytracing a lot and I hadn't much time. So I used a conventional ground black fog. Perhaps the only new thing I have done is to introduce a heighfield to make the dirty and noisy floor. If someone wants to know more about the image, please send me an email and I'll be very proud of answering you any question.
