The ultimate catastrophe! The final explosion of the Sun. Its
expansion already absorbed Mercure and Venus, the Earth is the next
victim. For a long time there is no more life on planet, the rocks are
vitrified, some coloured smokes escape from the craters. Only a skeleton
of tree, transformed into a kind of charcoal, completes to be
consumed, in the medium of carbonized stones

L'ultime catastrophe ! L'explosion finale du Soleil. Son expansion a deja
englouti Mercure et Venus, la Terre est la prochaine victime. Il y a longtemps
qu'il n'y a plus de vie sur la planete, les roches sont vitrifiees, des
fumeroles s'echappent des crateres. Seul un squelette d'arbre, transforme en
une sorte de charbon de bois, acheve de se consumer, au milieu des cailloux
carbonises.




DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 


Nothing complicated good. I especially sought a harmony of color being
able to symbolize the flashover of the mineral matter. The mountains
and the stones are isosurfaces, the smokes, simple media, and the
tree comes from the macro MakeTree. The small craters are carried out with
hight fields.

Rien de bien complique. J'ai surtout recherche une harmonie de couleur pouvant
symboliser l'embrasement de la mati_re minerale. Les montagnes et les cailloux
sont des isosurfaces, les fumees de simples medias, et l'arbre provient de la
macro MakeTree. Les petits crateres sont realises avec des hight fields.
