IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 
    This image depicts a chain of events causing the unlikely
convergence of 3 desert objects: a canteen (German, late-WWI), a blooming
desert plant (completely from imagination), and a lizard.  The canteen has
fallen, spilling water on the dry ground, which in turn causes a small desert
plant to sprout and bloom.  The bloom attracts a nearby lizard who is curious
about the plant and approaches it.


DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 
    All objects and textures are original
and created specifically for this work.  All textures are procedural.  The sky
(which is outside the view) is a procedural texture created earlier and saved
as a HDR image to enhance the lighting.  There is one distant point light, and
Monte Carlo global illumination is used.  All work was done in Art Of
Illusion.
