TITLE: Earth, that name rings a bell COUNTRY: England WEBPAGE: N/A RENDERER USED: Bryce 5 TOOLS USED: Bryce 5, Paint shop Pro 7 RENDER TIME: 2 hours 53 min 18 sec HARDWARE USED: AMD Athlon 2600 1Gb Ram IMAGE DESCRIPTION: We built a new home on earth, in keeping with current events though, we would have since we wouldn't remeber where we parked the space ships :D So Mars was colonized and Big Ben was moved brick by brick to Mars as a tribute to the new home and a familiar site. However during the middle of moving the structure an earth scale war broke out and earth was destroyed (In reality, I was Building Big Ben from pictures on the web, but they only should the front tower not the rest of if, C'est Le Vie) So on Mars Big Ben and earth has become a museum attration hence the information boards in the distance surrounded but little people and the main one in the foreground which hopefully you can read from, which is situated on a distant cliff to see BB in all it's splender. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: Well Big Ben is the main attraction of this image and it too far longer then I wanted it to take... all the textures save the clock face where created in PSP7, the clock face is from an image I found on google image search of the clock. the whol structures is actually quite basic mainly cubes and cylinders with the odd pyramid and sphere thrown in, using a reasonable amount of booleans... Any Bryce users will know the limitation of the program and know how tricky it can be to actually get any kind of results from this tool, but this is the one I am used to now and I am too stubborn to change at the moment :D since I only recently finished Big Ben, the rest of the mars surface was thrown together really quickly, I am sure it shows, but it shouldn't detract from the main structure in the image, other elements in the image are a monorail train just leaving the station in the foreground with people in space suits waiting at the station. again these are all cubes and spheres, since they are so distant it didn't need to much detail just the suggestion of figures... due to the tower, there was a lot of empty space left in the image, I tried a large amount of ships just flyinf around but TBH they sucked... so a little artistic license and I stuffed a couple of planets in the background... yes I know they would be there :D I realise I am not being as talkative (type-ative) as normal, sure some of you are grateful, but it is 15 minutes till 2004 and I am nackard so forgive me if the txt file lacks a bit of sense, too much Xmas cheer :D.... so happy new year to you all and hope you like the image... P.S thanks to all those who commented on "Decay" much appreciated and very constructive...
