IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 


I consider that nanotechnologies will make a great change for us in the future.
This image shows two CK335 (Cancer Killer type of bots) analysing human
organism
in search for cancerous cells.
You can see the three cranted wheels they use for moving and the round pod at
the
rear which is the analysis pod. When a anomalous cell is found, the pod
retracts
and injects a deadly poison into the cell.


DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 


The surface is an isosurface made with a superposition of various patterns.
The bots and the spire were modeled with Rhino.
The whole thing was rendered using a slope pattern turned toward the camera
to make it look like an electronic microscope view.
I also added some normal to make the various materials appear different.
