IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
This image is inspired by novelette by A.C. Clarke
"If I Forget Thee, O Earth...".
One of moon colonists, last survivors from Earth,
takes his son to show him his old home...
They're sitting in little moon buggy, on a high
lunar cliff and watching strange glows of energy
at dark side of the wasted planet.
And they know, none of them will return down there.
Not now. Not for a long long time...

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:
The planet is a sphere with layered texture and two
addtitional spheres with media.
Moon surtface is a isosurface (with low ambient and
high diffuse).
Buggy is constructed with some spatch objects (tires
& hull) and povray primitives (mainly sphere sweeps :)
