===== From exether@demo.xandmail.com: Nice modelling of the temple. The various elements seem not to be very well integrated together. ===== From rgow@lanset.com: Nice texturing on columns. Background a little too sparse. ===== From hildurka@simnet.is: Nice layout, nice background. The model of the temple looks very good. And now to the hopefully not too harsh part: The color of the sand is not natural and the temple texture is in no way consistent with the surroundings. You know, they always made their temples out of local materials, like the rock in the background. So the natural assumtion would be that they should have similar color. Apart from that, very good work, you obviously have what it takes, so donīt let anyone tell you otherwise. VERY good for a first attempt. ===== From the_dark_allies@hotmail.com: A good attempt, but the sand should be swirled around... especialy against objects. ===== From Knight-Graphics@earthlink.net: Continue to push the limits of your imagination (and your computer). ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: The textures are good, but the sand lacks a "grainy" feel. Adding some light and dark specks would help. The modelling is also done well - the only thing that stands out as needing improvement here is the smooth breaks in the fallen columns. Random subtractions from the ends of each chunk would make this more realistic. ===== From slone@hiwaay.net: Nice staging, and good textures and lighting. ===== From file: Nice modeling on the temple, but the elements are not very well integrated together. ===== From file: Nice modeling on the temple, but the elements are not very well integrated together. ===== From file: Not bad at t'all. Some rolling dunes in the sand would be a great improvement, as would altering the texture of either the temple or the rock so that they are not so close. The eye slips from one to the other, making it harder to look at. Modelling ain't bad either. ===== From file: Nice textures. However, the desert seems too simple, and the mountain lacks depth. Maybe you should scale it along the x and z axis and use some blue fog in order to add atmosphere
