EMAIL: aplenosol@jazzfree.com NAME: Bruno Gimeno Ferrer TOPIC: Mystery COPYRIGHT: I SUBMIT TO THE STANDARD RAYTRACING COMPETITION COPYRIGHT. TITLE: The Jumper COUNTRY: Spain WEBPAGE: http://usuarios.tripod.es/game2413 RENDERER USED: Pov-Ray 3.5 TOOLS USED: Pov-Ray, PoserRay, Poser 4, Photoshop (for image maps and final gamma correction) RENDER TIME: 12 h HARDWARE USED: AMD K6-400 128Mb IMAGE DESCRIPTION: The Escherville Municipal Arts Centre is now open for an exhibition of replicas from Ancient Greece. There you can see, in the sculptures room, the 'Discobolo' of Miron, the 'Archer' and one of the most enigmatic statues of the ancient world, the 'Jumper', that catches with all perfection the moment at which the athlete takes impulse to surpass an obstacle. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: All the human figures are slightly modified poser models, with slightly modified standard poses, and a little more work on their textures. There were converted with ABX's conversion utility, PoserRay, and finally rendered with standard radiosity parameters from rad_def.inc All the other elements of the scene were created by me, specifically for this image. Including a macro to cover the ground with tables of wood, the cloud texture that covers the wall, the benchs, wall sockets and the vase with Greek reminiscences that can be seen at the end (upstairs) of the scene. The picture is an image map (I believe that it represents Platon) which I took from some site in Internet, (I forget from where) btw, the "Pioneers" exhibition is dedicated to Dr. Fran Mae, Dr. Max Nelan Eane - NZ, Dr. W. Welles, Kudac D. Bivk, Asanri Cool - NL and Scyro N. Ghui. I'm sure that you've listened something about them. Bruno Gimeno Ferrer Valencia - Spain
