As this image proves, "somebody" is growing pygmy clones for unknown purposes.



DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 

The model for the pygmy creature was one of the first models I ever created
using Maya.
The canister the pygmy is "growing" in was modeled after what apparently is a
Coffee bean 
grinder, but on a friends webpage is portrayed as being a "Napalm canister"  The
textures
used for the floor, background, and connecting cables is from
http://www.highend3d.com and
credit for them is hereby given to the author.  There are two tori in each
canister
that generate the glowing effect inside the canister.  The canister also uses a
refractive
shader which creates the illusion of the model being submerged in a liquid.
Mental Ray
was used in conjunction with Maya to give the best possible refractive and
"glowing" 
effects inside the container as well as the soft shadowing.
