===== From rgow@lanset.com: The shells are neat. The shadows and lighting look funny considering the sun is straight ahead. ===== From shay@simcoparts.com: Those certainly are odd shells. I would suggest trying fading and variable reflection in the water. Also try different arrangements for the shells and raising your look at point a bit. ===== From jguthkelch@netscape.net: Nice almost watercolour feel to this. Let down by composition elements. ===== From batronyx@alliancecable.net: The gentle lighting has more of an indoor quality. I think its the multiple shadows on the foreground rock. Experiment with light groups and shadowless lighting. ===== From charliemc@prodigy.net: pretty good picture i liked it ===== From Sardook@telocity.com: It looks like the sun in in front of the clouds. Maybe soften up the edges so it looks more diffused would help, or putting it in a break in the clouds. ===== From chris_hormann@gmx.de: Good concept but the appearance of the scene could be improved in a lot of parts. There is a cloudy sky and completely uniform lighting but none the less a clearly visible sun. The water does not really look like a solid surface and the large stone lack a convincing structure. The very near foreground on its own looks quite well. ===== From clem@dhol.org: Interesting. The beach looks like a Go board. The green water may be too green. ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: The shells and water do a nice job of creating a somewhat alien looking environment, but the sky doesn't really match the rest of the image. This is probably partly due to the fact that the sky seems rather flat and 2D.
