IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
This is the Valley of Chamonix, in the French Alps, with the famous Mont-Blanc (4808mts) and its glaciers, as seen from the Aiguilles Rouges.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:
I imported this terrain from greyscale datas and converted it into Terragen format with the correct altitudes. I used 3 layers, that I draw manually, to overlay the glaciers, stones and woods. Otherwise, I used 12 mother-surfaces. I setup the surfaces and the atmosphere to get something similar to an autumnal morning, some days after the first snowfall.
