IMAGE DESCRIPTION: My godfather (a fighter pilot in WW2) told me once that the one thing that he remembered about flying on long patrols was the feeling of loneliness and isolation.
This is a futuristic image of the last starfighter. In homage to my godfather and his comrades-in-arms it has Spitfire wings.
I don't know if the gamma and contrast are correct for other peoples' machines as my monitor gamma is off the scale and I have to guess what it really is.
DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: No special tricks involved, apart from the macro in starship.inc which allows differential scaling of objects. I worked it up in order to build the Spitfire wing shape with precisely one object. It works!
