A picture inspired by Magritte's work. I don't know whether Magritte was a
lonely man, but his stiff, faceless characters convey a sense of loss that, I
felt, matched this topic well.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 

The apple was modelled in Rhino. It uses a colour map and a highlight map made
in Paint Shop Pro. The two figures are Poser characters. The rest of the scene
is plain CSG. The scene has eight lights.
