===== From tek@evilsuperbrain.com: Not bad for a beginner. The modelling's quite good (well better than I normally do!). ===== From the_dark_allies@hotmail.com: Another interesting historical scene. The tank does look wrong in areas and a bit simplistic, but since you have only been doing 3-D for about 1 and a half months, I will say that you are coming along very nicely. I would love to see what level your work is at the next irtc. Good attempt to add a halo on the spotlight on the tank, though the scene’s lighting itself seems to have a few problems. Why is there a pitch black ring visible behind the tank? It is also hard to see some black details on your tank. You should add more lights next time, using a fake GI system can really do miracles. Another thing to fix is you can see the large polygons in the snow closer to the camera, try to make them smoother. Last but not least, please try to avoid large signature icons like yours. It only distracts from the overall work, and does not add any merit towards it. ===== From pokorny@attglobal.net: Good start on the modeling. I found the link to the topic a bit or a reach. ===== From tom@tomandlu.co.uk: Given the topic is Winter, the snow could have been better. ===== From edward_dixon2001@yahoo.com: Not sure what a US Army tank was doing on the EASTERN front in World War II, but nice model! Keep up the good work - I'm looking forward to your next scene. ===== From lrwii@joplin.com: Like the far background. A little more work on the snow around the tank would help keep the tank from looking like it floats. ===== From twisted_hero@yahoo.com: USARMY on the road to Stalingrad? I'm pretty sure there was no US prescence in that section of the world during the German offensive. Neat image though. :) ===== From file: Not bad for a newbie. :) Take out the sig box in the lower left corner to improve it even more.
