===== From staff@clickquicknow.com: I Love the Mountain... but the shadow doesn't seem to match up. Almost as if it gets cut off at the half way mark. The 'hut-like' structures are plain but they do give attention to your pagotas. Very Nice! ===== From jouni@mikrobitti.fi: Interesting. The foreground could have used a little more details to bring life to the image. The scale is not completely clear to me: the size of the houses' doors and the bridge seem to conflict somewhat. ===== From ruy@hipernet.com.br: Nice modelling! I really like the pagodas. Some comments: the overall look is not very realistic, and I believe radiosity would improve the picture immensely. Also, the small buidings could use some more work. Anyway, good job. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Nice image... lots of detail. It needed that weathered look to make it come to life. ===== From emediez@emediez.com: I'd like to comment about the space. Your composition is not an average one. The space (sky) is balanced with the ground (tiles and fences) in terms of space. The middle (or the center) is the core of the scene, and therefore, the main point of view. Thus, we see the bridge first, and then the two pagodas, and then everything else. IMHO, I think that your scene would improve a lot adding more color, and more complex normals to your textures. Regarding color, the scene uses very discreet colors, but it depends on what you want to depict also. :-) The union between the ground and the mountain is too visible, maybe more contrast and colors would help. And happy New Year to you too. :-) ===== From lrwii@joplin.com: Nice pagodas. The tiles in the forground are nice too. I cann't say anything bad about this. You said it all in your text file. ===== From chris_hormann@gmx.de: Looks interesting, but the size of the huts does not match to the bridge. The modeling is fairly simple but this also adds an interesting note to the picture. ===== From bbowen@cswnet.com: I like the way the pagodas in general turned out. In general I would say you need to be careful of relative proportions and add details to your textures.
