===== From philip.chan@home.com: The terrain look very good, as do the models. In order to make the scene more intense and to showcase the details of your models better I would have added a fighter that had just made a close pass over the soldiers position (maybe a few explosions in its wake) and a soldier running away, desperately shielding his head from the enemy fighter with his arms. ===== From lrwii@joplin.com: Who's manning the gun? The road needs to be pushed down. It might have helped your scene if you have a plane scrafing the town closer. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Nicely laid out. The figures look really good here. Plasma bolts could use some work to make them looks less of a solid white. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: I like the intense action of the aircraft coming over the horizon. Building looks like it was melted; I assume this was intentional. Can't understand some of the diagonal shadow lines on the terrain -- are we looking at individual polygons on the height field? Would like to see lots more detail: trees, bushes, signs, poles, fences, vehicles, debris, etc. ===== From tm-ray@consistent.org: The figures and the house are nice. I think the house could use more in the way of scorch marks around the missing parts, and there ought to be some rubble and/or smoke. I would have preferred actual grass to a greenish texture for this, although I can see that perhaps it was not computationally feasible. The road seems quite narrow (presumably because you didn't make it wider again after you decided it wasn't going to be dirt). I think some trees or other buildings in the background would add, as would a more complex sky. I do like the double illumination from the sun and the explosion. ===== From delfeld@mailcity.com: Maybe reality does. Maybe that's part of the root cause of war?
