===== From kingofmycastle@gmx.net: Cool. Especially the landscape. ===== From tony@awmcs.net: A great landscape and your bricks are well done I like the way the snow accumulates on the stones. The sword seems too long to be able to stand on its own. The grass seems to take away realism IMO. Coming from a place where there is snow on the ground 4 mos out of the year I have never seen grass sticking out like that. ===== From extrememarinerfan@home.com: The background is neat, but I dont like much else. ===== From a.vandekraats@student.utwente.nl: Great textures. ===== From ZenPsycho@yahoo.com: well it depends on how you composited the terragen scene in. People in the comp tend to look down on post processing techniques, such as using photoshop. I like the snow in the foreground. I live in colorado, and in general, snowy mountains don't have that much snow on them, they at least have some bare rockface showing on the steeper slopes simply because snow can't stick to angles steeper than 45 degrees. ===== From youknow@ucan.foad.org: I like the snow on the crenellation even if it's a bit too even. Very empty landscape but that does go with it being abandoned. ===== From peter@table76.demon.co.uk: The distant scenery (something I never do well) is particularly good. ===== From delfeld@mailcity.com: "The mountain range was an image made in Terragen. I hope that doesn't disallow me from the competition. " No, of course not. But the mountain range may be the reason people like your image, rather than your own careful work. Rendering with radiosity would help the realism, possibly. I do not understand the sword. It seems arbitrary, especially the angle.
