Perhaps the child is fond of THE POKEMON, and he makes his parents spend all the money to buy this toys. I reckon that it's more a fact of fashion than a passion for this toys... So the child worships them... DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: All the meshes was created with 3dstudio max. Nurbs was used to make pickachu. To make Bulbizar I prefered to use a simple sphere and a FFD modifier (free form deform). Once I finished an object (for example the chair), I group all its components, so that it made one object. It was more easy to position whole objects in the scene. I also used boolean operation with certain objects. The txtures has been made using photoshop. I scanned them, or I take them from the internet, and then I reworked on them. I used 5 lights in this scene. Only 2 are really useful. 1 is for the outdoor three, to make the shadow on the brickwall (simulate the sun). Another is to enhance bulbizare (the blue pokemon !) so that it head does not seem dark. The third is to simulate the television, i use this light like a projector. The 2 most useful lights are positionned at right and left of the scene, and they are use for the global ambiance and the radiosity. Both they light the whole scene. Mental ray was used to render the scene, it allowed me to use the "globale illumination" to simulate radiosity. I worked 4 days to find how well-use this software so that the radiosity does not make white "splotchiness" on the wall and the floor. It's not easy to use it !.....
