TITLE: Sinkscapes NAME: Andrew Hungerford COUNTRY: USA EMAIL: andrew@liquidnite.com WEBPAGE: http://www.liquidnite.com TOPIC: Stills Submission COPYRIGHT: I SUBMIT TO THE STANDARD RAYTRACING COMPETITION COPYRIGHT. JPGFILE: sink2.jpg RENDERER USED: Bryce TOOLS USED: Nendo, Tree Druid, Photoshop (for textures), Poser 4, and Bryce 4 RENDER TIME: 6 hours HARDWARE USED: IBM Aptiva 350mhz, 128MB Ram IMAGE DESCRIPTION: Sinkscapes...The true contrast between the real and the unreal. This is the sink in the House of God, and he's been playing again. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: Sink was modeled in Nendo, and strategically placed in Bryce. Tree is a Tree Druid creation, and the bones were a Poser creation. The toothbrush was a .3ds I found on a disk somewhere. All the rest was modeled in Bryce. Sunlight was turned off, used a ball of 10 radial lights to give it a flourescent bathroom light feel. Textures for the tree, bones, and wall were made in Photoshop. Without the radial lights and just sunlight, this woulda have only taken an hour to render...But I wanted softer shadows.
