EMAIL: Raybonsal@peoplepc.com NAME: Raymond A. Salvatore TOPIC: Contrast COPYRIGHT: I SUBMIT TO THE STANDARD RAYTRACING COMPETITION COPYRIGHT. TITLE: Gizza Pizza COUNTRY: USA WEBPAGE: none RENDERER USED: Raydream Studio 5.5 raytracer TOOLS USED: Raydream Studio 5.5, Picture Publisher RENDER TIME: 30 minutes HARDWARE USED: HP Pavilion - Pentium III IMAGE DESCRIPTION: Contrasting the old and new, or the magnificent and the mundane, or the enduring versus the "throw away." I got the idea from one of the James Bond movies, where there was a light show going on in the background on the pyramids. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: Surfed the net to find good views of the three major pyramids at Giza - Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. Khufu, the biggest, known as "the Great Pyramid," is actually the smallest one in the picture, being the farthest away, I modeled everything except the truck and motorcycle; they are models included with the Raydream Studio. The sign in the window is too small to read, it says "King Tut Special, 9.95 ." The people are spheres that were modeled into human-like shapes via the mesh modeller. Apologies to any Eqyptians.
