===== From charliemc@prodigy.net: Beautiful. ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: Surprisingly effective for such a simple scene. ===== From hgregory3@aol.com: Artistic - Before we read your description I thought it was a solar flare and was impressed. After reading, still like it. Technical - Nice lava field, but sky is not appropriate as lava venting volcanos do not normally produce large ash cloud skies. Concept - Sorry but no contrast apparent in here. ===== From steve@neurotrain.com: A 12 T 12 C 4 Nicely framed and well lit. Good balance. The sky seems more marble than cumulus Technical - the sky texture needs to be improved, and if the ground is indeed lava, I expect to see burst of it near the base of the artifact, and bubbles or steam... Even reading the text file I get no idea of what the artifact is a contrast to. I gave a few points because the sky is a nice contrast to the lava. ===== From hfventer@ing.sun.ac.za: Some form of motion in the immage would have greatly enhanced it. ===== From file: Hmmm... not very on topic, but the first time I've seen a decent use for julia fractals. jaime@ctav.es
