===== From digitalburn@totalise.co.uk: *very* nice. better than my entry, that for sure, and the best i've seen so far! i like everything about it. of course, there's a lot that could be done to make it more realistic, but only at the cost of artistic merit. i'm impressed it's a blob... {and i *love* the aspect ratio] ===== From elvish_archer@mailcity.com: great light, great texture for the submarine, I think u must added life things, and it would be great if u added light that through out from the inside the submarine........is that KURSK ? ===== From darwallace@earthlink.net: Interior caustics, ior and surface normal pattern would help the water. ===== From pbourke@swin.edu.au: Easily the best submarine in the competition so far. Very good underwater feel. ===== From luisvaloyes@malditasea.zzn.com: the submarine is amazing... good job! ===== From dvnss@mega.ist.utl.pt: Man, you're a real sadistic guy! Poor submarine... :-) just kidding - Good image ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Great textures and ambient lighting. ===== From douge@nls.net: Very nice work, clearly one of the better entries this round. Texturing on the sub and the mines is very well done. Has a definite underwater feel. ===== From tony@j4tb.com: Your image captures the tension. You sub looks great. ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: That's another very good submission in this round. I don't miss the fish ;-) And I sure would not like to swim around these parts. ===== From soulmates@gci.net: Very nicely done. :{) ===== From husakm@vscht.cz: I feel how is the situation danger from the picture :) ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: The mines look nice, especially in close-up. The sub looks good too. I think a bit more murkiness might help... it just seems too even a shade of blue overall. ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: A great image, nice modelling and good water atmosphere. ===== From delfeld@mailcity.com: Good image. However, I would have like more suspense in the image, especially considering the theme - maybe a higher contrast between the idea of stillness and the need for the sub to keep moving? The lack of realism to which you referred also comes from the lack of an understandable scale for the objects. . . I don't have any idea how big a sub or mine is supposed to be, so are those big mines, or small? Dramatic lighting. ===== From file: I like the spooky feel of this image. Makes me sweat!
