===== From digitalburn@totalise.co.uk: good modelling, but the textures look at little flat ===== From darwallace@earthlink.net: Awesome but for the tablecloth's texture. ===== From pbourke@swin.edu.au: The clouds don't contract into the horixon as they should. Fairly good tropical-like bushes. I guess the scene is too contrived! ===== From dvnss@mega.ist.utl.pt: The candle is too little convincing ===== From tony@j4tb.com: Love the trees. A place I would like to find to relax and unwind. ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: Well you chose your sene well, despite your cautious remark it does not seem to be that common an interpretation. The sky is way too crude. The table cloth looks too artificial (the bits dropping from the table). The different shadows and colours on the table cloth are disconcerting. A nice-ish scene. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: The background looks very nice here... the bushes look great. The railing also looks good. There seems to be a problem with the scale of some of the foreground objects... the chair seats and the tabletop should be higher up, and the candle looks to be almost as tall as the chairs. Still, a very nice scene overall, and with some work on the objects, it could be very good. ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: A well laid out image. The textures need much more work, especially the wine glasses. That's one sharp horizon, it needs media or for. The plants look good. ===== From delfeld@mailcity.com: You might try light falloff and attenuation to achieve the same effect from the candle. The most pressing question , though, is why did you think everyone would do a scene like that? What does 'sea' mean to you? And if everyone else does it, why did you - not to say that is wrong, but rather that a reason is not explinaing that "that is what I decided to create. " You really don't have to explain at all, you know.
