===== From bfranke2@home.com: Too bad you did't read the rules first. This is a raytracing competition. ===== From Stickgod01@aol.com: I'm afraid there was some kind of misunderstanding about what the RT in IRTC stands for. The sky was a good idea, but the photograph entry was not. ===== From chris_darcy@yahoo.com: I think you may need to read the rules ===== From tony@j4tb.com: Sorry, but it looks like you have submitted a photo not a ray traced image. It is a nice picture and I happen to love thunderstorms. If we were rating pictures I would say you have a really nice one. ===== From beliaev@utu.fi: Sorry, but this seems to be a photograph, not a raytraced/rendered image. Please read the rules of the IRTC ===== From jd@surveyor.in-berlin.de: I didn't get it. Is there any raytracer involved in this image? For me, it looks like not. The image itself would fit surely in the topic - better than some other, but it doesn't fit into the competition, IMHO. ===== From bonsalva@bellsouth.net: Would have scored higher if larger image was available. ===== From klynn@uswest.net: A cool image. But your description seems to indicate that it is a photograph? This would make it illegal under the rules of the competition... ===== From karl@pemail.net: This is not a photograph competition ===== From cyberjoe@cytanet.com.cy: This is a RAYTRACING competition. ===== From spencer@early.com: A nice image but unfortunately I'm forced to score low. Next time make sure you have the proper info in your txt file. Since you didn't mention which program you used to render the image, or if you rendered it at all, it could just as well be photograph. ===== From javaearl@hotmail.com: Original idea about the sky, but the sky seems rather tamed to me (just my opinion). ===== From warp@iki.fi: This is a raytracing competition, not a photography competition. ===== From crowley@spinn.net: Why was this allowed into the contest? ===== From luisvaloyes@malditasea.zzn.com: ??? ===== From dmacisaacj@hotmail.com: Isn't the RT standing for Ray Tracing? May be my mistake, but stills is not the topic. The pic is good just doesn't belong ===== From dearmad@sapere.com: WOW! NATURE sure can RAYTRACE! :o) ===== From nitschk@ranke.be.schule.de: It is a good photo, but the "R" in IRTC stands for raytracing! ===== From jouni@mikrobitti.fi: Very beautiful, but a triple-1 for being a photographer. ===== From albiaprime@aol.com: Comments - From the description of your entry, I can only assume that you have taken a photograph and scanned it into your computer. While it may be a lovely picture, this competition is for the presentation of images that are created by the entrants from scratch on their own computers, using 3d modeling software and renderers. It is not for photography or images taken with a cameras, either by film or electronic!
