When I think of un-tamed lands. The Polar Regions come to 
mind. It is an area that few humans have ventured even
today. Truly the North Pole is a place where nature holds
a firm grasp for only a select few of Mother Nature's own
creatures can survive there.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 

This image consists of 2 height fields. One for the
mainland and one for the ice islands. The Whales were
created using s-patch and both the albatross' (birds) and
the polarbears were created using blob objects.
