===== From loomsbury@yahoo.com: My highest scores. I like this. I really do. The water at the bottom on the left doesn't quite look right, but other than that, it's awesome. Keep up the good work. ===== From pmccombs@hotmail.com: Wow. Mostly hand scripted, too? Amazing. Excellent models and textures. Wish I could do that stuff. ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Amazing ambient... sunlight is great. Liked the hard work on all the details. The composition/arrangement is also very well choosed. A great pic! ===== From tony@j4tb.com: I can see the detail you put into it even without a magnifier. The image looks quite realistic the fog really adds to the image I think. My only negative is the story line. Its kind of sad to think that even in the future we will still have alcoholism and homeless people. ===== From whhale@nvl.army.mil: Damn!!!!! this is a fantastic image. Thanks for the sneek peek on the news server. Great job. Gotta go...I think I hear a buzzing noise ===== From Stickgod01@aol.com: Excellent. One of the very best of the round. I love the floating police machine. Incredibly well rendered and detailed. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Very realistic looking... nice texture work. ===== From tom@tomandlu.force9.co.uk: Your technique is beyond fault. If I had a criticism, it would be that you could afford to be more confident in your composition. The robots are too centered, like you think we might miss them. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: This is a very good-looking, complex scene with lots of little details that add a lot. The police patrol vehicles show imagination. One very minor criticism is that the street sign in the center lacks a level of detail consistent with the rest of the scene. ===== From djohnston@iname.com: An amazing image! I love the texturing most of all, followed closely by the ligthting and the mood it sets. ===== From tonyv@iafrica.com: I had a big problem scoring this one. I had already seen it in the povray newsgroups and this predisposed me to vote a certain way. Especially in-line with the commects made by all the other participants of the newsgroups. The focus of the picture is not 'The City', but rather one of HE Day's very famous and wonderfully well modelled and textured 'machines'. It just happens to be set in an extremely well executed city scene. ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: Extremely detailed modelling is clear here, and the lighting is well placed. Fantastic job. Complaints are minor, but the background buildings would be better if they were different. ===== From file: I like the atmosphere, and its really detailed!! Perhaps you should have left out the red paper(s) on the left Notable for modelling, lighting ===== From file: Breathtaking! You can be proud of this pic! Notable for lighting, composition
