===== From english@spiritone.com: this looks like it should be in a story book. ===== From boork@gostnet.com: In really like the moon in this one; I've spent hours agonizing, trying to get a realistic moon before :P looks good! ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Nice looking image..... is that a person or a statue kneeling? hard to tell... other than that very effective. ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: Classical theme ===== From jouni@mikrobitti.fi: Impressing textures, yet I might've expected to see a bit more crumbled details to add to the "ruined" look. Well-made sky, the moon adds to it. The dramatic effect would've been preserved even with somewhat smaller moon, though. That large and bright object should probably illuminate the area more, too. A little bit more ruinish look would've made this one of the top dogs. BTW, is the man there hovering above the ground or is it just my eyes? ===== From chris_darcy@yahoo.com: Lighting strange ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: I like the moody blue lighting on this one, and the moon is very striking. The buildings are good too, and the columns in front feel very real... great texture! I'm not sure about the human figure, though... it's not bad (a lot better than I could do, I'm sure!), but it looks blocky... given how real the rest of the picture looks, I think the figure detracts from it. ===== From clem@dhol.org: Good job. I like the blues and the dramatic lighting and the surreal telescopic moon. I don't really think that the human figure adds anything. The building is perhaps a bit too clean and well kept up for a ruin. ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: Great image, but it really needs to be more broken up an bitty and decayed looking. You've spread some rubel around but ruins tend not to have bits of wood on the ground as it rots away fairly quickly. Some nice modelling ===== From file: The moon texture is awsome.
