Broken down unused building or object; Destruction or decay; loss of wealth, position, etc. Now, my Commodore 64 may not seem ruined at first glance, but believe me it is. Half the keys don't work (especially RunStop and Restore). The disk drive makes a weird rattling sound (although that doesn't matter coz not many of the disks still work). The tv won't hold a channel, you have to tune it in every 10 minutes. And all that would only matter if the power supply wasn't burnt out. So it's most definitely broken down, unused, destroyed and decayed. As for loss of wealth and position, well it's not rated very high on my list of useful items. So I ripped off the dust covers, whipped out my ruler, fired up Moray, and proceeded to produce what will probably be the most brand-spanking-new-looking (I like to keep things clean) ruins this round. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: All objects modelled individually in Moray (apart from leads and keys), then put together and exported to pov-ray. The disk-drive and joystick leads are sphere sweeps. The image maps on the book covers, keyboard keys and disk stickers were created (not scanned) in paint shop pro. The tv screen is two superquadrics, the outside one with a clear glass texture, and the other with a grey glass texture. Book covers are bezier patches. The keyboard keys were made in sPatch. The disk drive plug and the metal bit on the joystick are rotational sweeps. The disk drive case, computer case and disk box case are translational sweeps. Everything else is csg.
