===== From whhale@nvl.army.mil: This is what I think of when I think of ruins. Acouple of pointers: Dont use so much JPEG compression. your image suffers from compression rings. Plants should have been a little more flexable. Too light. The depth of the "Water" that your image gives off is about 30 feet. ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: I like the contrast between the foreground and the main subject. ===== From jouni@mikrobitti.fi: A good one, nice colors and a satisfying water effect. Impressive texture of crumbled stone you have on the pillars, although maybe slightly exaggerated. On the minus side, the leaves on the front look quite flat and the ground has got pretty odd stripes. Wouldn't think water does that at these depths? ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Nice use of texturing on the stone parts, and overall a very pretty scene. I think the plants could have used some work (they look pretty flat), and the water seems to be too uniform a shade of blue... some murkiness would have helped the realism a lot. ===== From jaime@ctav.es: I see some strange lines along the columns side. Is this a side effect of the resampling, perhaps? Anyhow, great underwater ambient and good "ruin" work. ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: Great atmophere to this image, nice rocks and motteled effect on the building. The plants could do with being a bit more ragged and some fish, some crabs and things and maybe some other types of plants would make a big difference. Nice work.
