JPGFILE: peaceful.jpg RENDERER USED: Pov-Ray 3.1 TOOLS USED: Gimp for conversion RENDER TIME: 2hr 18min HARDWARE USED: Pentium MMX IMAGE DESCRIPTION: When I see gardens, the first thing that comes to mind is peace. The peace between many different worlds. My image portrays that peace by showing the relationship of plants, water and the earth. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: This is easily the best picture I have ever made with pov, everything you see in this image (excluding the trees and spraying water) was made by me with pov shapes, hand-coded in the pov editor. The trees were an after thought simply because I had nothing to put in that area of the picture, so I searched my comp for some file that would make me a tree, and I found one, I am sorry, I do not know the name of the author of this .inc file. The water spraying from the fountain was put there to show some motion in the picture, it is from Chris Colefax's wonderful include file page. I had alot of fun learning how to use the #while loop command, which is pretty much what the fountain is, and the house. The bricks are made individually, they are superellipsoids. As are the shingles, but with the texture it is hard to see them. Speaking of textures, I made all of them, except the gold. And the clouds are just scaled from skies.inc. Well, that's about it, everyone have a great holiday season.
