===== From chris@bluelectrode.com: Very interesting concept...although the gardens are obviously image maps. I'm reminded the habitate section on Babylon 5, nice representation, although would there be such a stark contrast between each section as if it were a photograph? Good job. ===== From YaelParis@operamail.com: the cylinder is too flat. It's highly visible that you use a photo to map it. The lightning is too bright (unreal !) ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Style of construction differs for close up and faraway objects. ===== From whhale@nvl.army.mil: Tried to read this after lunch...mistake. Good concept ===== From tom@tomandlu.force9.co.uk: Overall, lacking detail, but very nice ===== From ameede@madmac.com: ameede@madmac.com ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: Recursive concept ! I like the idea, but the realisation suffers shortcuts (too few 3d surface details IMHO). May I remind you that the prupose of the IRTC is not for novelists ... although it is nice to have a bit of text that helps understanding what the intention is, too much makes it hard on the readers (86 submissions to go through you know). ===== From albiaprime@aol.com: Technical - Very nice representation of the B-5 station Artistic - Theme - it certainly meets the theme ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: This is a nice image compositionally, and has a good concept behind it. Technically you have some clever tricks and ideas. Unfortunately the foreground shows limitations on modelling and texturing - the elements there all seem quite simple and flat. The village on the curving surface and the construction elements at the top look fine - I think you just need to work on your detailing of foreground objects. ===== From peter@table76.demon.co.uk: The suspended gardens of Babylon's successor?
