===== From chris@bluelectrode.com: There's something about this image that makes it look raw and unrealistic. A more comprehensive txt file would have helped. I do like your lamp posts and the attempt at running water in the fountain even though it's not too visible. Better luck next time. ===== From bill@apocalypse.org: nice coloring and use of light - the green and gold between shadow has a magical quality. ===== From YaelParis@operamail.com: good idea to show a garden by night. It's just lacking of life, maybe some firefly will improve the global feeling of this scene. I like the lightning but the trees look too artificials. ===== From whhale@nvl.army.mil: The lighting is quite realistic but there is something about the Gazeebo that is biting at me. ===== From tom@tomandlu.force9.co.uk: A lovely mellow quality to this one - I want to have party here. One of the few successful nighttime images. ===== From ameede@madmac.com: A very serene and comfortable scene. I like the movement going on in the work. Your use of diagonal placement of objects, and the walkway aid in viewing the artwork. The water in the fountain appears to solid, the base of the trees are to sterile looking, and the gazebo roof has no textural depth to it. But these are all technical matters. Your concept of the work, I thought, was what gave your image its strength. You gave a purpose for having a graden. Good job. ameede@madmac.com ===== From CHRIS_DARCY@YAHOO.COM: Standard Bryce stuff. Nothing special. ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: Nice ambience. Good point of view. ===== From albiaprime@aol.com: Technical - nice lamps, gazebo Artistic - a balanced image, nice moon placement Theme - a garden of sorts, interesting interpetation of the theme ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: A night scene... quite nice. The lighting is effective, with the moon showing in the background nicely. There only seems to be one sort of plant in this garden however, which makes it a bit unreal.
