TITLE: I've Been Waiting for You COUNTRY: United States WEBPAGE: http://members.tripod.com/~Carrothead1/ RENDERER USED: Bryce 4 TOOLS USED: Poser 3, Paint Shop Pro 5 to make bruises on figure texture map. RENDER TIME: 7 hours, 39 minutes. HARDWARE USED: Pentium II, 450 MHz IMAGE DESCRIPTION: I have developed a love for Americana and have gravitated towards stories and images that are a part of American folklore. Most small towns have a good legend or two about a haunted church yard, and several of them focus on a ghostly/ghastly bride who wanders the night looking for people. I didn't base this image off of any one story, but off of the idea of all of those legends. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: The figure of the bride was a freebie download from Renapd. Her website is: http://members.xoom.com/renapd77/ I used Paint Shop Pro 5 to open up the Poser 3 nude female texture and add mottling/bruising to her skin before applying it to the figure in Bryce. I simply made an image that was a mess of black and purple and blue patches, and used the cloning brush paint it onto the map. Everything else is pure Bryce, including the textures. The trees are part of the few standard pieces of foliage that come with the program, and the church, tombstones, and fencing are all made out of Bryce. The church and tombstones are created of grouped primitives, and the fencing is a greyscale image drawn in the terrain editor. The textures are presets that I adapted/changed in the Deep Texture Editor.
