===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Not enough of a horror theme here, the eyes could just as easily suggest something cute. ===== From timk@jtse.com: The story was much better than the image. More subtlety might've been called for in the image. Not actually glowing red eyes. Rather, iridescent red eyes with a glaring flame-like quality. The lighting could've been much better as well. A more yellow night-light, shining onto and reflecting off of the blue-green walls. This probably would have been easier than getting the eyes just right. It could've been handled with one wide (160-170 degrees) spotlight shining toward the wall, and another dimmer, bluish area-spot light to simulate the light reflected from the wall shining back into the room. ===== From tina@ripco.com: That's a great story. ===== From rbenjam2@tampabay.rr.com: Great story ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: Enjoyed the story, but it's not told in the image. This work lacks textures, on everything. The poster casts a shadow on the ceiling so you can see it's not stuck to the wall. It all looks a very empty and sterile. I envey anyone who uses sPatch, I just can't get the hang of it. ===== From file: Great rendering, although you shouldn't reveal the "source" of the eyes. Quite scary. Notable for composition, originality
