DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: I was exploring the new POVRAY 3.1 package I downloaded, and I got to experimenting with the metallic textures on the spheres, after a while, I started trying the glass textures on these spheres. As time went on, I crossed the metallic finish with the glass finish, and tried a new color I named Amber, being fascinated with Amber to begin with, I figgured the clear Spheres would look nice on a checker board as checker pieces. I spent several hours playing with the WG6.POV sample before I found a texture and a position that I liked on that chess board. I then spent several more hours trying to figgure out how to arange the pieces. That was mostly trail and error, I guess bigginers luck played a major role in this design. The chess board is lit only by two bubbles. The clear piece has already moved forward, and continues to glow steadly as the amber piece is moving into position and lighting the board in a blaze of amber.
