A nice non-existing place to have a rest...
Or having a rest in a painting ?
We sometimes manage to reach the Other (opposed
to self), but most of the times we are confronted with
our own projections, so what we see is just a mask...
Mixing all this makes me think about a painting. Who
has never thought about going into a painting ? But
we can't. We can see it, but never reach it. I think
I would feel pretty calm in a painting (no noises ?).
So I ended up with a cool quiet resting place, with
chairs to sit like a few gardens in Paris, and a face
to meditate...

The floor is an idea of Salvador Dali, The two
Harlequins 1942.
The mask is my first face attempt with sPatch.
I am fascinated by face expressions, and
especially mask ones. This mask reminds me of
a joker like face.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

* chairs & mask were made with sPatch
* color map for mask was done paint shop pro
* all the rest is pov hand-made (sky is just
  a gradient with 2 layers of bozo transmit 
  only ; haze is a floor texture and the
  low part of sky gradient : no media !)
