Aptly named because of the sheer beauty of its terrain, mainly consisting of large well-formed, transparent zenite crystals. The planet has a mean diameter of 12834 km and a roughly circular orbit of mean radius 1563000000 km. Scientists believe that the mineral zenite was able to crystallize to form the huge crystals compositing the planet's landforms because of the very slow cooling of the crust. Oceans on Narcisuss are not filled with water, but by a dense copper(II) complex vapour. The atmosphere is mainly composed of the gases krypton and radon, and does not support life. There are visibly clouds in the higher atmosphere, which precipitates zenite crystallite flakes under suitable atmospheric pressure. The crystalline "snow" then dissolves in the blue copper(II)complex vapour, to be recrystallized under colder, more suitable conditions. Such is the land-forming process on this planet. Erosion takes place when the planet is warmer while its orbit is closer to its sun and the zenite sublimes. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: This is a seriously simple piece of work, really, but with a great- looking result! It's a heightfield with rainbow colour, cellular bump-map, high transparency, medium reflectivity and high IOR. The vapour is justa blue cloud primitive. The spectrum is a group of spotlights and light cone applied. A fountain primitive provides the snow.
