     TITLE: BIG BANG!!: The first encounter with anything?

     TOOLS USED: PoVSB, POV-Ray, and a little bit of sPatch
     RENDER TIME: 25 minutes and 6 seconds
     HARDWARE USED: IBM Aptiva
     IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
     	This was my "first encounter" using PoVSB and POV-Ray.  There have been 
	many theories as to how the universe was created.  This is my personal 
	view of the Big Bang theory, and how chaotic it might have looked.  I 
	have included 3 cones: one for light, one for darkness, and one representing 
	life.  I have also included many beams of energy shooting outward, spreading
	and creating the new universe.  Finally, I have included the mythical Pandora's
	box with a hand getting ready to open it.

	I'm a beginner at this, so any comments that you might be able to give to me
	would be very helpful!  Thanks, and good luck to all entrants!
     DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:
     	Essentially, this image is created mostly out of PoVSB objects with varying textures.

	Special thanks goes out to Heather Cousineau for use of her "hand."  She's
	pretty cool, in my humble opinion.

	The star pattern was made out of a plane and a starfield texture.
